Inmates participate in horticulture educational training to grow seeds into plant starts for area gardens.


 

Mecklenburg County Solid Waste

To encourage the composting that saves landfill space, Solid Waste provides training and materials to set up composting bins at each of our garden locations.


 

Renfrow Hardware

Renfrow is a passionate advocate for local, sustainable farming.Owner David Blakley shares his knowledge with our gardeners, and donates local, non-GMO seed (GMO = genetically-modified organism).

Vulcan has donated pit gravel for garden builds.
